Breeds, Ages, plus other info
I have a bunch of different breeds of chickens, even barnyard mixes. I have always tried guessing as to what breed is what as chicks, but have found that it is rather difficult at times with some breeds looking identical as babies. After raising 5 different flocks and on a 6th flock, I figured it was past time to start taking pictures and recording what I find in hopes to make it easier to identify the different breeds.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your pictures. I am a new chicken mom and I was wondering what my chicks would look like as they grew. There are many pictures of chicks and adult birds, but not many of the in between stages. I took pictures of my RIR and Golden Comets as they grew and it was so interesting.
